AI/ML for Medical Image Analysis

Our team is developing deep learning and machine learning models for
medical image analysis. We have designed methods for retinal layer
segmentation, cerebral palsy detection, and tumor detection.

Mixed Reality System for Surgery

The application we have developed allows surgeons to visualize occluded
and obscured organ boundaries as well as other important anatomy that is
not visible through the laparoscope alone, facilitating better spatial
awareness during surgery.

TECHNOLOGIES FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED

VIMS Lab at the University of Delaware is developing deep learning based technologies that will be used by the visually impaired for their everyday
